The Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration, and Energy Agency (Nakertrasngi) announced that a job fair is held in five administrative cities from July 27 to August 11, 2022, offering 20,000 vacancies in 200 companies engaged in various fields.

Hope it can help fresh graduates seeking employment

Naketransgi Agency Head Andriyansyah said job fairs were held alternately from one region to the next which was held for two days in each region.

"This is the first batch. The next will take place in September and mid-December," he expressed, at PGC Cililitan, East Jakarta, Thursday (7/28).

He explained it is a forum to bring together employers and job seekers with face-to-face or offline mechanisms.

"Hope it can help fresh graduates seeking employment," he explained.

According to him, the Regional Job Training Centers (PPKD) in five regions, Job Training, Industrial Development Centers (PPKPI), and Welding Job Training Centers also opened booths at the Jakarta Job Fair.

“This is also an opportunity for residents who want to get information related to improving skills or knowledge. All training carried out is free," he added.

His agency had built a jaknaker.id channel or application that brought together job seekers and employers online. Job seekers could find jobs that match their skills and employers could find jobs that match their business.

"This is not just the seeker, but the employer. So, it can be formulated into data that can be used as policies or programs that we will take in the future," he stated.

Here is the schedule for the 2022 Jakarta Job Fair in each region:

South Jakarta

- Pasaraya Blok M (July 27 to 28)

East Jakarta

- PGC Cililitan (July 28 to 29)

West Jakarta

- Mall Season City (August 2 to 3)

Central Jakarta

-Thamrin City (August 8 to 9)

North Jakarta

- WTC Mangga Dua (August 10 to 11)
